FI Service Corps is heading back to Tampa Bay to support continued Hurricane Helene & Milton recovery, partnering once again with SBP. We’ll spend two full days volunteering followed by a free day of activities and exploration together on the sunny Florida Gulf coast! Â

🏠Type: Post disaster home repair(e.g., drywall, flooring, painting, etc.)
🛠 No experience needed! SBP provides tools, supervision, safety gear, and guidance. Just come ready to work hard, get dirty, be flexible, and make a difference—while having fun.

We’ve secured a block of rooms at a privately owned hotel Clearwater, FL. The inn provides lots of communal space to gather as well as a beautiful POOL! Centrally located near St Pete, multiple beaches, and the costal towns SBP is serving.

Wednesday, May 6: Arrive after 4pm, Settle in, fun welcome/icebreaker night
Thursday , May 7: Volunteer 9am–4pm, Local ChooseFI group meetup
Friday, May 8: Volunteer 9am–4pm, Evening Sunset Cruise & dinner buffet
Saturday, May 9: Group activities - Walking tour of historic Dunedin, Explore St Pete and support local businesses
Sunday, May 10: 10am Check out and say farewell!

We will need to drive to the volunteer site(s). Some participants may drive their personal or rental vehicles and the organizer (Ryan) will rent a SUV. Additional transportation needs (if any) will be determined closer to the event date.

❌ Participants are responsible for their flights/transportation to Clearwater and all meals (except Friday dinner on the sunset cruise). A whatsapp group will be set up prior to the trip where airport rides and plans can be coordinated.

Considering our limited resources and upfront costs, we have the following cancellation policy.
• Cancel before Mar 6, 2026: $100 cancellation fee
• Cancel Mar 6–April 6, 2026: $300 cancellation fee
• Cancel after April 6, 2026: No refund
Ticket transfers/sales at cost are permitted with organizer approval.Â
