What we do
FI Service Corps is a social enterprise that partners with charitable organizations who rely on volunteers to execute their missions. We mobilize members of the Finance Independence community and organize transformative trips and events where our volunteers not only perform meaningful volunteer work but also enjoy opportunities to connect with one another and the community.
While we are committed to engaging anyone who wants to turn their desire to volunteer into action, we view the Financial Independence community as a uniquely positioned group of individuals who possess the means and resources to come together and make an impact. We strive to exist as a vehicle for mobilizing those who are willing and able to give their most valuable resource - time.
The FI community is an informal, barrier-free community of people from all walks of life who share common interests in personal finance, investing and lifestyle design. Not a member? Don’t worry! There’s no eligibility criteria, no prerequisites, no special card or secret handshake - the Financial Independence community is diverse, accepting and always open to new connections, new ideas and different perspectives. It also does not matter where you are on your financial journey - from buried in debt to completely financially free - all are welcome.
