May 6-11, 2025 (5 nights Tuesday-Sunday)
Join us for Hurricane Helene relief in Western North Carolina! This trip will take place Tuesday through Sunday with 3 volunteer days Wednesday-Friday.
Volunteer Partner: NECHAMA Jewish Response to Disaster (volunteers welcomed regardless of faith or background)
Type of volunteer work: Disaster Relief - tasks can range from debris cleanup, to mucking and gutting houses, to home repairs (drywall and painting, for example). Specific tasks and sites determined closer to event date. No specific experience is necessary and participants only perform tasks they are comfortable with. Our volunteer partner's trained staff will provide all necessary instruction, supervision, tools, materials and PPE. Expect to work hard, get dirty, make an impact and have fun!
Nearest Airports:
Asheville Regional (AVL) - 11 miles from property
Greenville-Spartanburg International (GSP) - 60 miles from property
